Here’s the Daily ESG Digest for June 14th, Tuesday.

1. (North America) $1 Billion Fund to Reduce Vehicle Fleet Emissions. Canada’s mail and parcel delivery company Canada Post announced today a series of environmental sustainability commitments, aligned with its net zero goals. The announcement includes plans to invest $1 billion to cut emissions and transition its 14,000 vehicle fleet to non-emitting fully electric vehicles by 2040. (Link)

2. (Global) World’s Largest Green Hydrogen Ecosystem. Energy company TotalEnergies of France and Indian multinational conglomerate Adani announced today a new partnership aimed at jointly creating the largest green hydrogen ecosystem in the world. ANIL plans over $50 billion in green hydrogen and associated ecosystem investments over the next 10 years and expects to develop 1 million ton per annum of green hydrogen production capacity before 2030. 3. (Europe) Carbon Capture and Storage Project. Energy provider Ørsted announced today that it anticipates capturing and storing 400,000 tonnes of carbon per year from 2025, equivalent to removing around 200,000 cars from the road, based on plans to establish carbon capture at two of its Danish power stations.
