1. (North America) Beyond Net Zero. California-based natural gas and electric utility Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) unveiled today a series of new climate commitments, including a target to achieve net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2040, and become “climate positive”, removing more greenhouse gases from the environment than it emits, by 2050. 2. (Global) $250 Million Fashion Climate Fund. Fashion sustainability-focused nonprofit Apparel Impact Institute (Aii) announced today the launch of a new $250 million Fashion Climate Fund, with lead funders including Lululemon, H&M Group, H&M Foundation, and the Schmidt Family Foundation. (Link)

3. (Europe) Hydrogen Production from Plastic Facility. Powerhouse Energy Group, the UK technology company commercialising hydrogen production from plastic, announced that its UK channel partner Peel NRE has been granted planning apporval for a hydrogen facility in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland.
